TYPES OF CHANNEL LETTER SIGNS
FRONT LIT CHANNEL LETTERS
Front Lit Channel Signs provide illumination exiting from the front of the letters. This is the standard illumination technique for channel letter signs. Front Lit Illumination provides the most visibility and they are the easiest to read from further distances. We utilize different color faces, as well as different colors for the trim cap and returns (the aluminum and plastic that holds the letter together) to create memorable, visible signage.
BACK LIT CHANNEL LETTERS
Back Lit Channel Letter Signs provide Illumination exiting the back of the sign and reflecting off the wall. This provides a halo effect around the letter. Back lit illumination is very popular among higher end locations. We find these to be very popular with white lighting, and black letters. In the sample shown here, there is a tagline with push through letters, creating a unique and legible complete sign.
CABINET BOX SIGN
Cabinet Box Signs are the most cost effective illuminated signs. We utilize an aluminum box with a translucent vinyl overlay on Lexan branded acrylic. This creates a wonderful sign that really pops at night. With a cabinet sign, you can create a full color design complete with images and text. Some city halls have begun to phase out cabinet box signs, in preference for individual channel letter signs, so please check with your city and landlord requirements before placing your order.
